The International Temples Project was established by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. His compassionate vision is to build a Kadampa Temple for World Peace in every major city in the world.
A Kadampa Temple is a unique place, a blessed and holy place. It is a place that will have a positive influence on millions of people now and in the future, a perfect environment for the growth of true human qualities such as love, compassion and wisdom.
A Temple is a source of peace for everyone and a focus of world peace.

In Tampa Bay it is our wish to build small temples based on the same model as the traditional Kadampa Temple pictured above. Currently we have a Center in Clearwater and branch classes in Brandon, Largo, Lutz, New Port Richey, St Petersburg, and Tampa. Our hope is that these will continue to grow and eventually transform into Kadampa Temples.
Kadampa Meditation Center Florida
