Love Without Pain Workshop

February 13, 10:00am - 5:00pm
Parbawatiya Kadampa Buddhist Center, 201 6th Ave S, Safety Harbor
A day course on how to make our relationships healthier and more joyful.
In our society we are constantly exposed to messages of how painful love is. There are many songs, movies and books written about this. What if you found out that it’s not the love that hurts, but something else? Imagine if you could have the tools to make every one of your relationships more successful, harmonious and more meaningful? It is possible to open your heart and love without fear. Buddha explained how negative minds such as attachment hurt our relationships. With meditation we will reduce the power of attachment and other delusions that have taken over our minds, and uncover the secret of making all of our relationships harmonious.
This day course will consist of guided meditations, teachings, and the opportunity to ask questions and explore these themes as a group. As a result, you will feel empowered with self-confdence and have a new appreciation for the people in your life.
The course costs $35 ($20 students/limited income) and includes a delicious vegetarian lunch! There is a 10% discount for registering before February 7th.
