Parbwatiya Kadampa Buddhist Center strives to exemplify Buddhist practice through public service.
Visitor center
Parbawatiya Center is a major visitor center for the Tampa Bay area. In addition to the unique Buddhist Temple, bookstore and gift shop, in the future, the Center will offer a beautiful World Peace Garden, consisting of native plants, water features, and quiet sitting places for visitors to enjoy.
Support for the local community
Parbawatiya Center supports the local and worldwide community by offering teachings and advice on how to live a peaceful and meaningful life.
When requested practitioners from the Center, including monks and nuns, visit those who are sick, dying, or suffering to offer advice and prayers. We also offers funeral services and other special public services and teaching events.
